Safestep ERIKSBERG are durable contrast markings with a fine anti-slip coating of glass beads and a backing of aluminum and 3M tape. The markings have very high adhesion and adhere to virtually all clean and dry indoor surfaces – stone, concrete, linoleum, etc. The markings are ø50 mm, supplied in packs of 50 and are available in black, white and luminescent. The self-adhesive backing is protected by protective plastic equipped with a flexible flap for easy installation.

Easy application.

The contrast dots are usually installed on stairs, on the first and last step, at door sweeps and ramps, and to mark level differences in the floor. The textured surface provides extra slip resistance while the glossy finish makes it easy to keep clean. A simple, flexible and effective solution that contributes to increased safety and accessibility.

Important to remember: According to the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning’s recommendations, stairs should be provided with contrast markings on the first and last step of each staircase, and the markings should be consistent throughout the building. The contrast dots should be at least Ø 50 mm and placed at a maximum of 20 mm in from the edge, with a maximum gap of 30 mm. The contrast markings should also be installed with a different material and a lightness contrast of at least 0.4 NCS – either lighter or darker than the surroundings.
