GRP Ballistic panels
Reinforced ballistic panels made from high quality GRP.
GRP Ballistic Panels – lightweight protection against bullets and shrapnel.
GRP ballistic panels are reinforced protective panels made from high-quality glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP), designed to provide effective protection against bullets and shrapnel. The panels can be used as standalone protection or in combination with other materials to reinforce existing walls, vehicles, or facilities.
With protection level 7 according to European standards (against 7.62 × 51 mm and 5.56 × 45 mm calibers), these panels are a cost-effective alternative to traditional armor, with significantly lower weight and easier handling. Thanks to an advanced manufacturing process, impacts are absorbed so that projectiles are captured within the panel – protecting both people and property without dangerous penetration. We offer several solutions and panel thicknesses depending on the required level of protection.
Features & benefits
- Class 7 bullet resistance – tested against 7.62×51 mm and 5.56×45 mm calibers
- Effective splinter and bullet trap technology – stops and binds the projectile
- Lightweight compared to traditional armor – easy installation and transportation
- Can be used as stand-alone protection or in combination with other materials
- Corrosion-resistant and maintenance-free – long service life even in exposed environments
- Modular solution – can be customized according to space and protection requirements
- Available in different protection levels and dimensions
Areas of application
- Military and police infrastructure
- Bulletproof rooms, security cages and checkpoints
- Vehicles, containers or technical installations
- Protection against sabotage, blast risk and dangerous projectile trajectories
- Public environments with high security requirements
