Safestep (GRP Anti-Slip Sweden AB), reg. no. 556866-7603, respects and safeguards the privacy of every individual whose personal data we process as part of the provision of our products and services.
We do not collect more personal data than we need, we do not use the data for anything other than the purpose for which the data was collected, and we do not store the data longer than necessary.
Safestep takes the necessary measures to secure the data we process/manage and to ensure that unauthorized persons do not gain access to it. Data protection is a priority for Safestep and the responsibility for data protection issues therefore lies with Safestep management.
This privacy policy describes what personal data we collect, how and why we do it, how you can influence it and how we keep it secure.
PARTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA.
Safestep, org no 556866-7603, Vattholmavägen 16, 754 19 Uppsala, Sweden, is engaged in the sale and installation of anti-slip, fiberglass, protective products and accessibility products. Safestep is the data controller for the processing of personal data for contact persons at our suppliers/partners. Some personal data is stored by Safestep, in other cases the data is stored in online systems managed by external suppliers who then act as data processors for Safestep.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA DOES SAFESTEP REGISTER/PROCESS AND WHY?
3.1 Why Safestep collects personal data
Safestep collects personal data in order to be able to keep in touch with customers, suppliers and partners in order to develop, deliver and market the products and services we sell to our customers.

CUSTOMERS.
4.1 Why we collect and store personal data
When a company contacts Safestep to order a product or service from Safestep, we simultaneously register the customer’s contact details to be able to handle the order, deliver the product/service and to be able to charge for the same. In connection with this, we register personal data for the company’s contact person.
4.2 These personal data are collected.
The personal data we collect in connection with orders to Safestep are:
First and last name of contact person
Telephone number of the company and any contact person
E-mail address of the company or the contact person’s e-mail address at the company
In addition, additional information about the customer company is collected that is not personal data. In cases where an individual entrepreneur’s organization number is the same as the entrepreneur’s personal identity number, this is registered as the organization number.

4.4 How we ensure the accuracy of the data
For each new customer order, the recipient of the order checks that the contact details are correct and updates the data in the business system immediately if necessary. If the customer informs us that the data is incorrect, we will update the data as soon as we have the opportunity during office hours Mon-Fri 08-18.
4.5 How long the data is stored
According to the Swedish Accounting Act’s rules on archiving, records must be kept for 7 years. We therefore save our contact details for customers for 7 years from the time the order was recorded in our system, after which the contact person’s details are deleted. At the customer’s request, we can delete the contact person’s personal data from the customer database within that time, but the receipt must always be saved, including the data on it.
SUPPLIERS.
5.1 Why we collect and store personal data
When Safestep orders components, products, services from one of our suppliers, we register the data necessary to receive and pay for the goods/services, to communicate with the supplier about the same, as well as the data required to comply with the accounting obligation.

Together with the necessary company data, the following personal data is also collected:
First and last name of contact person
Telephone number of the company or contact person at the company
E-mail address of the company or e-mail of the contact person at the company

On request, we can delete the contact person’s personal data from the supplier database earlier, but the receipt must always be saved, including the information on it.

In our daily operations, we develop and manufacture products/services and in order to carry out this work, we collaborate with a number of partners. In order to be able to keep in touch with them, we store contact details for one or more contact persons at the company. However, this information is not registered, but stored as unstructured data in, for example, email.

7.1 Why we collect and store personal data
We are occasionally contacted by people interested in receiving more information about Safestep products/services. These requests are received via email or telephone. The contact details of the persons in question are then stored so that we can get back to the person in question with product information and possibly price information. This information is not registered, but is stored as unstructured data in, for example, email.

9.2 Right to rectification
We always strive to ensure that the personal data we store and process is accurate and have a number of procedures to ensure that this is the case. If you nevertheless discover that our information about you is incorrect, you have the right to request correction or completion of your personal data.
9.3 Right to erasure/deletion
You have the right to delete your personal data processed by Safestep at any time, with the exception of contact information included in a transaction that must be retained to comply with the Accounting Act.
