Yes, unique is a strong word – but there truly is no one else quite like us.We have chosen to go our own way in an otherwise highly specialized industry. We do not claim to be the only ones offering anti-slip solutions or tactile guiding strips, but we are the only ones bringing together three fairly separate areas into one. For us, however, it is completely natural, since anti-slip solutions, fiberglass products, and accessibility all fall within what we choose to call SAFESTEP – smart, sustainable, and modern steps toward a safer future.

Safestep is a Uppsala-based company founded in 2010. The headquarters remain in its hometown, but the company now extends far beyond Sweden’s borders. Thanks to a broad network of partners, suppliers, and resellers, we have a presence across large parts of the Nordic region.

Our mission
With a huge drive and a desire to change an otherwise stagnant industry, we spread knowledge and inspire our customers to test new solutions that lead development forward. Through sustainable products and unique services, we reduce the need for maintenance – and prevent the risk of injury.
