Carbon fiber profiles are an excellent alternative when low weight combined with high performance is crucial. They are particularly suitable for industrial applications where requirements for stiffness, strength, and weight optimization go hand in hand – for example in automation, machine construction, robotics, or custom-built solutions.The profiles are available as rods, tubes, and flat sheets. The carbon fiber tubes with unidirectional (UD) fibers in a vinyl ester matrix offer very high tensile and bending stiffness while keeping the weight to an absolute minimum.
