Safestep launches its own heated mats

Winter is creeping ever closer – and so are slipping accidents. Did you know that every winter, around 25,000 people slip and fall so badly that they have to seek medical attention? Most falls and slips happen in December, January and February. We can’t have that.

This year, we at Safestep are launching our own heating mats: Safestep HEAT MAT. The mats, which we have been working on and refining throughout the year, feature a unique heating technology with heating blankets instead of heating cables, resulting in faster and more even heating – for even more efficient snow melting. With our snow melting mats, you don’t have to shovel, sand and salt, and you don’t have to worry about slipping accidents and broken bones this winter. A smart and easy way to reduce icing and increase safety in the most accident-prone places: on the stairs, in front of the front door, outside the entrance, on the ramp, the footbridge and the escape route.
Our heating mats are available in four different sizes:
- 27 x 95 cm: A smaller snow melting mat developed primarily for placement on stairs, under the air source heat pump and on other less ice-prone surfaces.
- 50 x 120 cm: An oblong heating mat perfect for walkways outside the home, in the condominium association, in spa or pool areas and outside entrances.
- 60 x 100 cm: Ideal for walkways, surface structures and as an entrance or door mat.
- 100 x 150 cm: A larger mat suitable for ramps, walkways, walkways, surface structures, pipes and entrances.
