Safestep’s heating mats are connected to a standard grounded 230V electrical outlet. Once connected, the mat maintains a temperature that keeps it free from snow and ice at all times – regardless of the outdoor temperature. The mats can be placed on all types of surfaces and remain connected throughout the entire winter season.

Connect the mats in series.
All our heating mats are designed to be connected in series. This means that you can connect several mats in one long series – with one and the same power cable, connected to one and the same power socket. This applies to all mats, regardless of size. So a 27 x 95 cm mat can be connected to a 100 x 150 cm mat – no problem.
