Safestep KVARNGÄRDET – vinyl contrast marking is a ready-made vinyl strip for easy contrast marking of windows, glass doors and large unprotected glass sections. The contrast markings are designed to meet the requirements and recommendations for clear contrasts with the surroundings. The product is supplied in ready-to-install strips of 1 meter and is very easy to install.

The contrast markings are available as circles of ø50mm and ø70mm, alternating white and black markings. This results in clear contrast regardless of whether the surroundings are dark or light, and both day and night. A simple, yet important solution in an accessible and inclusive society.

Important to remember: According to the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning’s recommendations, large glass surfaces in doors and glass surfaces that can be confused with doors or openings must be clearly marked with contrast markings in a different material and color. The markings should be visible to both standing and seated persons by being placed at two different heights of 90 cm and 150 cm from the ground.
